Dissembling Brown

Sitting before his own Chilcot team, specially chosen for their lack of forensic skills, Gordon Brown was able employ all his dissembling tricks without challenge. As expected he spent most of the time reeling off irrelevant and mind numbing statistics. The fact that his account was at odds with every single prior witness was not challenged. The inquiry was set up to “learn lessons from Iraq” but there was precious little chance of learning anything from the self-serving, blame-shifting, drivel spoken by the PM. However, most people know full well that there are soldiers who would not have been killed had they been better equipped and since Brown was in charge of the money he is to blame.
