The Woods Mea Culpa

The mea culpa of the former saint Tiger Woods was professionally planned with breaking voice, penitent expression, and welling tears of self-pity. Then the main camera filming this truly cringe-worthy performance melted with embarrassment and TV screens throughout the planet went blank. One was thus able to switch to Los Angeles where his former lover, actress Joslyn James, was putting on an alternative “soul baring for the media”. When the camera could be prevailed upon to re-start filming Woods’ ghastly charade we were told that Buddha was now carrying the golfer’s spiritual bag. This is a good move since Buddhism teaches that life is permeated with suffering caused by lust and that salvation is obtained through wisdom and proper conduct.
